Pepe's Cafe on Caroline Street says it opened in 1909, and it serves breakfast every day. The morning menu includes traditional eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and house-made hollandaise, blueberry pancakes, and house-made cream chipped beef on toast. Orange and grapefruit juice are fresh-squeezed.

Bagatelle serves a long daily brunch from an 1800s building near Mallory Square that was converted into a restaurant in 1979. The Southern Benedict pairs citrus-braised pork and poached eggs with Cajun hollandaise on toasted cornbread, served with house potatoes. For something sweet, Bananas Foster French toast comes with bananas, dark rum sauce and whipped cream.

Azur on Grinnell Street serves brunch every day. Key Lime French toast comes on Texas toast with vanilla custard, Key lime pie and wildberry compote. The Azur Benedict features house-cured fennel salmon with shallots, crème fraîche, capers and tobiko hollandaise, and the gnocchi frittata is made with smoked bacon, caramelized onion and potato gnocchi.

Banana Cafe on Duval Street opens early every day. The Bananas Foster waffle comes with maple syrup, caramelized banana and toasted almonds, and the Frenchy Egg sandwich puts ham, caramelized onion and Swiss on a croissant with breakfast potatoes. The Inside Out French Benedict pairs a crepe with eggs, ham, Swiss, herbs, sweet onion and Key lime hollandaise.

Sarabeth's Key West serves brunch daily but doesn't take brunch reservations, so plan to walk in or order pickup by phone. The patio is small-dog friendly, with one dog per table. For alcohol, the restaurant serves beer and wine only, and it doesn't do separate checks.
